About the Role

As a Project Manager, you will join Airspan's dynamic and highly experienced team, working to develop our portfolio of radio base stations that support multiple radio access technologies, including 5G, 4G/LTE, and GSM.

Airspan's hardware portfolio is built for scalability and reliability, with over 50,000 5G radios and 700,000 4G radios deployed in live networks worldwide. Our solutions meet the demands of public and private networks with unmatched efficiency and performance, spanning dense urban deployments and expansive industrial applications. With proven success in Open RAN interoperability and conformance testing, Airspan continues to innovate and deliver cutting-edge wireless solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as primary program management interface with US Government (NTIA) for Government funded grant activities.
  • Integrate hardware development plans with software release plans.
  • Work with System, Integration, & Interoperability Test team to include testing functions in product development plans.
  • Identify and manage project risks.
  • Guide development projects through the Airspan Gate process.
  • Work closely with RF Development Director to assess tradeoffs during development to minimize impacts on project cost, product cost, product quality, and schedule.
  • Create and manage models plans.
  • Work closely with Operations and NPI teams to ensure model builds go smoothly and on schedule.
  • Provide regular status updates to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Act as office manager for Warren, NJ office. Includes leading and tracking purchasing activities for the site.

Key Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Computer Science or a related field from an accredited institution.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively within a multi-disciplinary engineering team.
  • Experience interacting with US Government funding bodies administering grants.
  • Experience in new product development.
  • Expertise with MS Project, MS Excel, MS Word, & MS Powerpoint.
  • Experience with RF products is a plus.
  • Understanding of applicable wireless technologies (e.g., LTE, 5G-NR) and industry standards (e.g., 3GPP) is a plus.
