Project Manager - Process & Industrial Services
AP Executive Staffing is hiring for our client, a globally recognized leader in engineering services. They are seeking an experienced Project Manager to join their team in the Buffalo, NY area. This is a full-time, on-site role within their Process & Industrial Services Division. You will lead project teams, manage simultaneous projects, and ensure the successful delivery of projects to clients in a variety of industrial sectors.
Responsibilities
- Direct all phases of engineering design projects, including estimating, project execution, and support during construction and commissioning.
- Manage one or more projects simultaneously, ranging from $0.5M to $30M, for customers in the Industrial Gas, Chemical, and other industries.
- Lead project teams and facilitate communication between functional representatives to ensure projects are on track and meet all objectives.
- Utilize project management methodologies, systems, and tools to meet project requirements and maintain awareness of safety and environmental regulations.
- Track projects against schedules and budgets, reporting status to management and clients regularly.
- Assist with business development and new client acquisition.
Qualifications
- 7+years of industrial-related project experience, with at least three years in a project management role.
- BS degree in a technical or engineering discipline.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills and the ability to work both independently and in a team environment.
- A general understanding of contract administration and business principles, with a broad understanding of each engineering discipline.
- Ability and willingness to travel to client locations or project sites.
- PE Licensing and/or PMP Certification is beneficial.
Salary The compensation for this position is competitive and commensurate with experience, ranging from $90,000 to $140,000 annually.
