Project Manager: Industrial Refrigeration

We build large-scale, mission-critical refrigeration that keeps America's cold chain moving. As Project Manager, you own the job from notice to proceed through commissioning. You'll lead field and engineering teams, make the call under pressure, and deliver on time and on budget. No drama, just results.
What You'll Own
- Drive industrial refrigeration projects from award to closeout
- Serve as the single point of contact for clients, GCs, and internal teams
- Control contracts, scope, cost, and schedule with precision
- Coordinate multiple trades to hit quality and timeline targets
- Build and maintain detailed, realistic project schedules aligned to GC milestones
- Ensure crews are staffed, equipment is lined up, and materials land when needed
- Develop reliable vendor relationships and lock in cost-effective buys
- Keep design and field execution in sync; review drawings and resolve conflicts fast
- Track material status and shipments to prevent delays
- Identify risks early and enforce safety and regulatory compliance
- Provide clear, timely updates to leadership and clients
What You Bring
- Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering or Construction Management (or equivalent experience)
- 5–7 years leading refrigeration, HVAC, or industrial construction projects
- Proven leadership of engineers, subcontractors, and field crews
- Strong negotiation chops; solves problems without hand-holding
- Tight organization and documentation habits
- Confident, strategic decision-making within budget parameters
- Clear, proactive communicator across teams and leadership
- Proficiency with PM software; comfortable reviewing CAD and P&IDs
