Job Description :

Position: Program Manager – Manufacturing

Location: MetroWest, Massachusetts

Full-Time, Onsite |

About the Role

Our client is seeking a Program Manager to join their Program Management Office (PMO) in the MetroWest area of Massachusetts.

This is a great opportunity for a hands-on, results-driven leader with 3–5+ years of Program or Project Management experience in a manufacturing setting.

If you enjoy owning programs from concept to delivery, partnering closely with customers, and navigating the challenges of both low-volume, high-complexity and high-volume production, this role offers a chance to make a measurable impact.

What You'll Do

  • Lead end-to-end program management for assigned customers—delivering on scope, schedule, cost, and quality goals.
  • Manage P&L for programs ranging from $2–$25M, with potential to grow into larger portfolios.
  • Serve as the primary customer contact, providing updates, addressing issues, and building strong relationships.
  • Collaborate with engineering, operations, quality, supply chain, and finance to ensure program success.
  • Make decisions and solve problems proactively—no micromanagement required.
  • Monitor program risks and implement mitigation strategies.
  • Identify opportunities to boost efficiency, profitability, and operational excellence.
  • Support new product introductions (NPI) and transitions to higher-volume manufacturing.

What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, technical project management, or related field.
  • 3–5+ years in program management, project management, or project coordination in a manufacturing environment—electronics, aerospace & defense, medical, or automotive preferred.
  • Proven success managing both low-volume/high-complexity and high-volume manufacturing programs.
  • Strong financial acumen with multi-million-dollar P&L responsibility.
  • Excellent communication skills—able to convey complex information with clarity.
  • Skilled at leading cross-functional teams and maintaining alignment across departments.
  • Highly organized, decisive, and able to act independently.

If you're ready to lead high-impact manufacturing programs and drive results in a fast-paced environment, we'd love to connect. Apply today!
