Project Manager - Diversified Services Network : Job Details

Create and update project plans for client's teams. Manage communication, Power BI dashboard, and changes to plans. The main function of a non-IT project manager is to plan, direct, or coordinate activities in such fields as engineering, research and development, financial systems and product roll-out, etc. or any other non-IT based project.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Coordinate projects, make detailed plans to accomplish goals and direct the integration of technical activities.
• Provide facilitation for project teams, lead control meetings and chartering/planning sessions for medium to large projects.
• Maintain and improve processes for generating customer deliverables.
• Maintain program level issues/action logs, risk registers, scope change requests/logs, program work plans, and program cost tracking.
• Maintain accurate project schedules, create report packages and communicate project status to team members and stakeholders.
• Make recommendations to the project team to resolve schedule and project cost issues.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

• Bachelor's degree with 5-7 years' experience.
• PMP certification.

REQUIRED SKILLS:

• Extensive knowledge of project management software (Primavera or MS Project).
• MS Office experience (Excel/Word/PowerPoint).

DESIRED SKILLS:

• Knowledge of other software tools such as project accounting systems.

SOFT SKILLS REQUIRED:

• Verbal and written communication skills, problem solving skills, attention to detail and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage one's time.
• Strong meeting facilitation skills and ability to influence others without having authority.
• Ability to work in a team environment.
