- The role involves leading and managing Business Intelligence (BI) team programs and projects to ensure they achieve strategic objectives within scope, schedule, and budget, delivering significant business value.
- The position requires effective communication with stakeholders and ensuring compliance with established methodologies and best practices.
Responsibilities
- Drive BI team programs and projects to meet strategic objectives.
- Utilize appropriate change control processes for all assigned programs.
- Communicate program status and outcomes to stakeholders, including executive sponsors.
- Develop and implement communication plans to facilitate program discussions and handle escalations.
- Estimate resources and identify necessary subject-matter expertise for program staffing.
- Ensure execution and proper storage of all required program artifacts.
- Conduct periodic program audits for compliance with methodologies.
- Coach project and program managers on risk management strategies.
- Forecast and control program budgets to realize expected financial and business benefits.
- Facilitate requirements gathering sessions with stakeholders and project teams.
- Ensure clear articulation and approval of requirements for inter-related projects.
- Lead efforts to determine optimal resourcing mix for achieving program goals.
Education Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.
Required Skills
- Strong dedication to meeting customer expectations and maintaining effective relationships.
- Project Management:Extensive knowledge of project/program management principles and methodologies (e.g., waterfall and Agile).
- Process Management: Ability to organize people and activities efficiently, recommend process enhancements, and present findings to executive stakeholders.
- Over 10 years of experience managing large-scale, complex, cross-functional projects/programs.
- 6-9 years of management experience, preferably with diverse project portfolios.
- Proven ability to manage geographically dispersed project teams.
