Project Manager Engineer – Industrial Projects

Key Responsibilities:
- Manage all phases of industrial project lifecycle: planning, execution, and completion
- Oversee schedules, budgets, and cost control measures
- Coordinate with engineering, design, procurement, production, and service teams
- Track project performance and adjust plans to stay on schedule and within budget
- Lead design reviews and ensure accuracy in drawings and specifications
- Support installation and commissioning efforts on-site
- Communicate effectively with internal teams, vendors, contractors, and clients
- Enforce safety and compliance protocols throughout the project lifecycle
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (or equivalent experience)
- 3–7 years of engineering experience prior to entering project management
- 2–5 years of experience managing technical or industrial projects
- Strong understanding of project lifecycle phases: initiation through closing
- Experience working with airflow systems, oxidizers, and sheet metal fabrication is a plus
- Skilled in reading blueprints, P&ID drawings, and BOMs
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills
- Ability to lift 25–75 lbs with or without assistance and work in fabrication environments
- Travel: 25–30% (domestic and occasional international)
Preferred Qualifications:
- Background in industrial manufacturing or environmental control systems (e.g., RTOs)
- Experience with ISO quality management systems
- Familiarity with risk management, vendor coordination, and installation oversight
- Proven leadership of cross-functional teams
