The Project Manager is responsible for planning, overseeing, and executing assigned projects on time, within budget, and within scope. This includes safety, scheduling, resource management, quality, customer satisfaction, risk management/mitigation, monitoring, reporting, documentation, change orders, and implementation. The Project Manager plays a critical role in the success of a project, guiding it from estimate to customer acceptance.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Business, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- At least three years of experience in a project-oriented industry involving estimating, manufacturing, engineering, and fieldwork.
- Experience with project management tools such as ProCore, Microsoft Project, Excel, etc.
Skills and Abilities:
- Proactively prevent and resolve customer concerns.
- Ability to initiate change and create a sense of urgency.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Knowledge of terms and conditions relevant to the role.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary interface between KOCH Finishing Systems and customer representatives, maintaining communication, service, and response to customer needs while controlling project costs and schedules.
- Manage overall job performance using project management tools and update the ERP system to reflect labor and materials flow, providing accurate insights into productivity and gross margin performance.
- Develop and maintain a project schedule with clear milestones to monitor progress.
- Coordinate with purchasing to ensure timely ordering and receipt of materials according to specifications.
- Monitor actual costs against budgets, investigate variances, and ensure effective utilization of labor and equipment to meet completion and installation schedules.
- Maintain regular communication with Engineering and Operations to ensure all information required for performance and gross margin management is accurately and promptly conveyed.
