Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead capital and infrastructure projects within a high-volume liquid storage and terminal facility. This role is responsible for overseeing the planning, coordination, and execution of multi-disciplinary projects ranging from tank installations and facility expansions to process upgrades and automation initiatives. The ideal candidate will bring strong project controls experience, technical knowledge of industrial terminals or chemical handling environments, and a focus on safety, efficiency, and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, manage, and execute capital and maintenance projects from conception to closeout, ensuring alignment with operational goals and safety standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering, operations, HSE, maintenance, and procurement to define scope, deliverables, and timelines.
  • Prepare and maintain detailed project schedules, budgets, and risk registers; provide regular updates to leadership.
  • Lead contractor selection, manage vendor relationships, and oversee on-site construction and commissioning activities.
  • Ensure all work complies with applicable regulatory and internal safety, quality, and environmental standards.
  • Monitor project performance metrics and drive continuous improvement across execution and reporting processes.
  • Support long-term asset planning and infrastructure modernization efforts within the terminal network.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related technical field
  • Minimum 5–7 years of project management experience in terminal operations, chemical storage, refining, petrochemical, or related heavy industrial environments
  • Proven experience delivering complex capital projects on time and within budget
  • Strong working knowledge of project controls, risk management, permitting, and safety compliance
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to coordinate cross-functional teams and external contractors
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Project or similar scheduling software; familiarity with CMMS and HSE systems a plus
