The ideal candidate is a skilled project manager with success delivering complex projects as part of a diverse team. About the Job: The Project Manager drives project success through effective leadership and collaboration, detailed planning and tenacious accountability. This role leads and develops project teams to satisfy key clients for complex and strategically important projects enabling the safe integration of UAS and AAM into the National Airspace System.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver all assigned projects including staffing, work assignment and overall planning safely, on-time, per scope and within budget.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to define detailed scope then create and execute the project plan to achieve objectives
  • Continually evaluate, track and mitigate risk related to scope, schedule, budget and safety.
  • Pursue continuous improvement through Identification, tracking and reporting key performance measures.
  • Perform deliberate and timely change management. When necessary, report and escalate critical challenges with proposed solutions to leadership
  • Managing third-party IT vendors, including contract negotiation, performance monitoring, and relationship management.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation
  • Write clear and concise reports and presentations internally and externally
  • Generate new sales opportunities by delivering success and collaborating with customers to understand their challenges.

Your Characteristics:

  • 5 – 10 years of proven success leading complex projects with a variety of customer types
  • Basic knowledge of aviation and the National Airspace System.
  • Bachelor's degree in related field of study or equivalent work experience. Advanced degree and PMP certification a plus.
  • Can accommodate up to 20% travel, when necessary, mostly within New York State.
