The role
Due to growth and expansion Fugro are seeking a Project Manager within the Falmouth Hub, based in Cornwall, UK, working for the Nearshore Team. This is a fantastic opportunity supporting some of the most significant projects in the UK and Europe. The Nearshore team deliver geo-technical ground investigation for the renewable and infrastructure industries using jack up barges across the UK and Europe. Your work will support Fugro's values helping to de-carbonise the planet, making it a safe and liveable world for the future. Working on site for 4-6 weeks at a time and planning projects from the office, you will be a key player responsible for the preparation, delivery, and management of nearshore site investigation projects from tender award to final delivery. You will manage the safe, efficient, and cost-effective delivery of projects prioritizing the health & safety of our people. You will use your skills to secure resources, manage finances, draft method statements, risk assessments and lift plans to enable the safe delivery of work on time for our clients.
Who we're looking for:
The Project Manager will hold or be working towards a Civil Engineering qualification accredited with the ICE, or similar institution. The role will entail leading a team and require good people skills to effectively lead and manage teams to share a vision to achieve success. It is important for the successful candidate to instil a strong safety culture, planning and delivering project work both from the office and onsite. An excellent standard of communication is required, as the role entails negotiation and collaboration with external and internal stakeholders. As a Project Manager you will experience working in many environments and travel across the UK and Europe. Flexibility, and the ability to drive is essential for this role.
