Project Manager
JOB SUMMARYCovalent Solutions (Covalent) is seeking a mission driven, highly motivated and collaborative Project Managers who are truly excited about building great products for the New York City Department of Social Services. As a Project Manager, you will apply your project management skills to drive projects forward and efficiently meet project and business objectives. This opportunity is full-time with Covalent and is on-site in Brooklyn, New York.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include, but are not limited to:
- Work with the client and program manager to define success metrics and criteria.
- Ensuring the program/project meets success parameters and business objectives stated in the project plan and charter.
- Providing transparency and communication on project status and risks to project stakeholders.
- Manage large scale projects to deliver quality software solutions to the client that meets requirements.
QUALIFICATIONS
Education
- Bachelor's or Master's in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering or Electrical Engineering
- PMP (Project Management Professional) Certification
Work Experience
- 4+ years of experience in overseeing large scaled, complex projects, comprised of a number of deliverables and/or number of phases.
- 4+ years of experience with acting as issuing entity regarding project status, meetings, reporting requirements, scope changes.
- 4+ years of experience with management of timeline making sure that the tasks are performed as per scheduled date as per project plan.
- 4+ years of experience in business analysis and project management techniques, SCRUM and Agile Development Methodologies and Sprint Delivery.
