Project Manager - GPAC : Job Details

Job Description Our client is a commercial construction subcontractor with solid history and great opportunities seeks a Project Manager who can take a project from start to finish with attention to detail and hands on attitude. We are looking for a team player to work from our East Rutherford, NJ office. We serve the New York/New Jersey Metropolitan area in high tech spaces. We offer escalating compensation with profit sharing, and an excellent benefits program. JOB DESCRIPTION: Project Manager

• Review project with Sales.
• Confirm material, labor, and special requirements.
• Transmit submittal package for approval when required.
• Wednesday PM meetings in East Rutherford
• Submit initial material requirements to John Ball.
• Order accessory items as job requires.
• Jobsite visits:
  • Dock/ Delivery/ Slab conditions
  • Job ready then look ahead
  • Labor needs and job progress
• Jobsite meetings.
• Confirm manpower & delivery requirements with Dan and John.
• Identify and generate change orders as required.
• Invoicing of project.
• Follow-up on change orders.
• Build and maintain relationships by doing it right the first time.
• Closeout review (estimated cost vs. actual)
