About the Role: We are seeking a Project Manager with facilities management experience to join our Operations team. Reporting to the Construction Operations Director, you will plan, execute, and oversee projects to ensure timely, on-budget delivery. Responsibilities include coordinating resources, managing contractors and subcontractors, handling project CAPEX and construction tasks, tracking progress, mitigating risks, and maintaining quality standards throughout the project lifecycle.

Responsibilities:

• Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables in alignment with client and organizational goals.
• Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets, ensuring effective resource allocation.
• Coordinate and lead cross-functional project teams, including assigning tasks and setting performance expectations.
• Monitor project progress, track milestones, and manage timelines to ensure timely delivery.
• Identify and mitigate risks, implementing contingency plans as necessary to keep projects on track.
• Communicate with stakeholders, providing regular updates on project status, timelines, and potential challenges.
• Conduct quality control checks to ensure that project deliverables meet quality standards and client expectations.
• Manage project documentation, including reports, budgets, and other relevant records, ensuring compliance with company policies.
• Conduct post-project evaluations to assess success, identify areas for improvement, and document best practices.
• Stay current with industry trends and advancements, leveraging new technologies to improve construction processes.
• Conform to company Quality, Environmental, and Safety policies, as well as any relevant laws, regulations, standards, and other requirements.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Project Management, Engineering, or a related field; PMP certification or equivalent is highly preferred.

Required Skills:

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Understanding construction processes, safety regulations, and project management principles.
• Proficiency in construction management software and tools, as well as financial acumen for budget management.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a focus on delivering high-quality results.
• Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
• Flexibility and mobility to travel across the states and abroad if needed.

Preferred Skills:

• 10 years of experience in project engineering or a related role in the construction area. Greenfield's experience is a plus.

Location and Mobility: The position is based in Troy, MI, but primarily requires time in Fort Wayne and frequent travel to multiple sites. Candidates should be open to regular travel and possible relocation as project needs arise.
