This role offers the opportunity to drive high-impact projects in a mission-driven healthcare environment.Key Responsibilities* Lead the planning, budgeting, and execution of new construction and renovation projects across Beacon Health System.* Review and evaluate architectural and engineering designs for functionality, cost-effectiveness, and code compliance.* Oversee bid processes, contract negotiations, and vendor relationships.* Serve as the owner's representative-ensuring projects meet quality standards, timelines, and budget goals.* Approve and monitor change orders and contractor payments.* Collaborate closely with Facilities Engineering leadership to align construction projects with system-wide infrastructure strategies.* Maintain comprehensive project reporting, tracking, and documentation.What You Bring* Bachelor's degree in Construction Administration, Architecture, Engineering, or related field.* 15+ years of progressive experience managing large-scale construction projects; healthcare construction preferred.* Deep knowledge of federal, state, and local construction codes and regulatory requirements.* Proven ability to manage budgets, read blueprints, interpret specifications, and calculate material and labor costs.* Strong interpersonal and communication skills-able to collaborate with architects, contractors, hospital leaders, and public officials.Leadership Competencies* Drives Results - Delivers high-quality outcomes on time and within budget.* Customer Focus - Builds trusted partnerships with stakeholders and vendors.* Instills Trust - Maintains integrity and accountability in all aspects of project leadership.* Collaborates - Fosters teamwork across departments and disciplines.* Communicates Effectively - Shares project goals and updates clearly with all audiences.Why Beacon?We deliver outstanding care, inspire health, and connect with heart.
