Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager specializing in Water Resources to lead civil engineering projects from concept through completion. The role involves managing scope, budgeting, staffing, and production, with a strong emphasis on storm sewer design, drainage analysis, and client coordination. The ideal candidate will have solid technical expertise, leadership ability, and be prepared to obtain their Professional Engineering (PE) license within six months if not already held.

  • Monitor project scope, budget, staffing, and production for assigned water resources projects.
  • Prepare and contribute to project proposals and client communications.
  • Conduct drainage analysis and storm sewer modeling using Autodesk Storm & Sanitary Analysis (SSA).
  • Prepare construction plans, details, and design calculations using AutoCAD and Civil3D.
  • Draft reports, documentation, and quantity calculations.
  • Perform site visits and inspections to ensure quality and compliance.
  • Ensure adherence to safety codes and regulatory requirements.
  • Carry out additional duties as assigned by management.

Must-Have Skills
  • Bachelor's Degree in Agricultural & Biological Engineering, Civil Engineering, or Environmental Engineering.
  • 4–8 years' experience in storm sewer design and drainage.
  • Passed the Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) Exam.
  • Eligible and willing to obtain PE license within 6 months.
  • Ability to visit and safely traverse project sites.
  • Willingness to work on a variety of project types.
Nice-to-Have Skills
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and Civil3D.
  • Experience with Microsoft Excel and Word.
  • Strong technical documentation and reporting skills.
