We are known for our hands-on, real-world approach and our commitment to building strong, collaborative relationships with every client.Position OverviewWe're looking for a Project Manager to join our Building Envelope Architecture team. In this role, you'll lead and support a wide variety of technically complex façade restoration, historic preservation, and new construction projects. You'll work closely with clients, contractors, and design teams to deliver high-quality outcomes that balance performance, design intent, and constructability.What You'll Do
  • Manage multiple projects through all phases-from investigation and design to construction administration and close-out.
  • Serve as the primary client contact, coordinating with contractors, consultants, and internal teams.
  • Prepare and review construction documents, drawings, and specifications for exterior systems including masonry, curtain walls, windows, roofing, and more.
  • Conduct site inspections, forensic investigations, and quality assurance reviews from ground level to suspended scaffolds.
  • Write technical reports, shop drawing reviews, field observations, and design recommendations.
  • Interpret NYC Building Code, zoning regulations, and public agency requirements.
  • Mentor junior team members and contribute to internal process improvements.
What You'll BringRequired:
  • 6+ years of experience in façade consulting, restoration, or building envelope architecture.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture or related field.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong knowledge of exterior wall systems, construction practices, and materials.
  • Familiarity with DOB/FISP processes, NYC Building Code, and preservation standards.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple concurrent projects.
Preferred:
  • Registered Architect (RA) or Professional Engineer (PE).
  • NYC Special Inspection Certifications (Masonry, Structural Steel, Post-Installed Anchors, etc.).
  • OSHA 10, 4-Hour Supported Scaffold, and 16-Hour Suspended Scaffold certifications (required or to be obtained upon hire).
Work Environment & Schedule
  • This position is based in New York, NY and requires regular on-site presence.
  • Approximately 25%-50% of time will be spent in the field.
  • Standard working hours are Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM-6:00 PM.
Compensation & Benefits
  • Salary range: $90,000 - $125,000, based on knowledge, skills, and experience.
