Position Overview:
As an Automation Project Manager at Pieper Automation, you will play a pivotalrole in the success of our automation projects. Your responsibilities willencompass managing every phase of the project lifecycle, from initialopportunity through to final closeout. You will combine project managementskills with technical expertise and strong leadership to drive high-qualityresults and maintain excellent customer relations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Lifecycle Management
Opportunity Identification:
- Evaluate and pursue new project opportunities, aligning with organizational goals and client needs.
Estimation:
- Develop and refine project estimates, ensuring accuracy in scope, budget, and resource requirements.
Execution:
- Oversee project implementation, managing timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure successful delivery.
Closeout:
- Conduct project closeout activities, including final assessments, documentation, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
Expert Guidance:
- Provide technical direction and support throughout the project, leveraging your expertise to solve complex problems and ensure project success.
Collaboration:
- Work closely with engineering teams and technical experts to integrate solutions and address any technical challenges.
CustomerRelationships:
- Work closely with the business development team to build andmaintain strong relationships with customers, understanding their needsand ensuring their expectations are met.
Communication:
- Maintain clear and proactive communication with clients, providingregular updates and addressing any concerns promptly.

Qualifications:
Education:
- Bachelor's degreein engineering or a related field, or equivalent combination of educationand experience.
Experience:
- Previousexperience in industrial controls is preferred.
ProjectManagement:
- Proven ability to manage projects through all phases,including scope definition, budgeting, scheduling, and execution.
- Strong background in automation technologies and technicalproblem-solving.
Leadership:
- Demonstrated leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and guideteams towards successful project outcomes.
CustomerFocus:
- Excellent interpersonal skills for building and maintaining strongclient relationships.
Communication:
- Effective communicator with the ability to clearly articulate projectgoals, updates, and technical information.
- Problem-Solving:Strong analytical skills to identify and resolve issues that may ariseduring the project lifecycle.OtherRequirements:
- Some travel toindustrial sites may be required.
- A positiveattitude towards safety and personal integrity are essential.
