Join our client's Rush Power Gem division as an Aftermarket Project Manager in Turtle Creek, PA. We are seeking a self-driven and accountable professional to manage moderate to complex aftermarket repair projects for power generation equipment, ensuring they align with the value proposition, schedule, and budget. This hands-on role requires you to work on-site, driving project execution, managing schedules, and acting as the primary point of contact for customers and internal teams. If you have a background in heavy industrial settings and are looking for a collaborative role with long-term potential, this is an excellent opportunity for you.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Manage the entire project lifecycle from the planning stage through to completion of all contractual delivery obligations and project close-out.
  • Drive the execution of aftermarket repair projects.
  • Monitor, coordinate, and expedite all internal processes for the procurement of project materials and services, including identifying suppliers for replacement materials.
  • Coordinate all communications between the customer and the company in a timely manner.
  • Identify risks and opportunities and develop plans for mitigation and enhancement.
  • Regularly review project performance and report any significant issues of concern to senior management.
  • Report major project KPIs to leadership, such as on-time delivery, actual revenue versus planned revenue, and project margin.
  • Monitor and track project milestones to ensure on-time invoicing.
  • Effectively negotiate and record customer project variations, ensuring internal departments are notified.
  • Ensure final project reports and workbooks are completed on time and in full.
  • Work in a hybrid environment, splitting time between a project management office and the shop floor as needed.

Required Qualifications:

  • 2-5 years of related project management experience.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • Demonstrated experience in a general manufacturing or heavy industrial setting.
  • Must be self-driven, self-aware, accountable, and not afraid to ask for support.
  • Ability to work on-site five days a week in Turtle Creek, PA.
  • A background that is not from the IT project management segment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with power generation or repair projects is a plus but not required.
  • Experience in sourcing or identifying suppliers for materials.
