Position: Project Management SpecialistLocation: Oak Ridge, TNSalary Range: $80k-$100kOverview:KeyLogic is seeking a Project Management Specialist for potential work to contribute to project management efforts on large-scale scientific research and development projects.Job Duties and Responsibilities:* Support principal investigators or project directors in facilitating and coordinating project activities, project reporting, sponsor communication, and other duties as assigned by project leadership.* Work with project staff to develop and maintain schedules, cost estimates, assist with risk identification, and change control.* Provide day-to-day support to the project with schedule and cost maintenance and status, and forecasting and assist in generating monthly reports on project status and performance;* Perform ad-hoc activities as directed by the project management mentor, principal investigator or project director;* Support the project management staff in preparing for various project reviews, including internal and external project status reviews.* Deliver client's mission by aligning behaviors, priorities, and interactions with our core values of Impact, Integrity, Teamwork, Safety, and Service.* Promote diversity, equity, inclusion, and accessibility by fostering a respectful workplace - in how we treat one another, work together, and measure success.Qualifications Required:* BS/BA in project management, business, engineering or equivalent* Two (2) years of applicable experience.* Have strong interpersonal and communication skills and be capable of working independently on complex tasks in support of team members.* Possess advanced competence in Microsoft applicationsQualifications Desired:* Project Management Professional (PMP) certification, or equivalent* Possess an understanding of project management best practices and competence creating project schedules, performing resource loading, incorporating monthly status, and creating and maintaining the project baseline.* Demonstrated ability of successful work in an interdisciplinary project environment and/or scientific collaboration that includes participants from academia, national laboratories, and other scientific organizations.* Exceptional communications skills with the ability to convey technical concepts to a diverse audience.Federal Government Clearance:This position may require the ability to obtain a government clearance which requires U.S. Citizenship. This position may require reviews and test for absence of any illegal drugs along with a background investigation by the Federal government in order to obtain an access authorization prior to employment and may require subsequent reinvestigations may be required
