Project Leader - Chemistry - Dover Brook Associates : Job Details

Job Description Job Description We are looking for a bright, energetic, and committed professional to work as a validation specialist in our New York facility. Dover Brook Associates will provide support and extensive training for the activities related to the exciting projects. This will allow growth in specialized fields of science and industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing routine microbiological and chemical procedures on food and pharmaceutical products and equipment according to company and standard methods. Responsibilities include: Develop, perform, and evaluate detailed protocols while collaborating with the project leader to facilitate validation processes. Assess, interpret, and review system performance data from completed qualifications and compile a comprehensive final summary package. Responsible for all Chemical validation activities in beverage industry by performing operational qualification of Aseptic equipment and recommend changes accordingly to qualify the process. Should have a strong understanding of FDA validation regulations and industry best practices in the food sector, with the ability to apply and enforce validation standards effectively. Responsible for exclusion testing, bioburden analysis, pathogen screening, and thermal death time evaluations to ensure microbiological safety of products in accordance with FDA regulatory standards. Responsible for investigating process deviations by performing root cause analysis and implementing appropriate corrective actions. I also conduct food spoilage evaluations using methods such as standard plate counts, spore counts, serial dilutions, and pathogen detection techniques. Responsible for microbial streaking and colony isolation on selective media to assess bacterial growth and metabolic traits. And have to perform titrations, pH measurements, and hydrogen peroxide residue testing to validate sanitation effectiveness. Take a lead role in managing change control procedures during the validation of high-acid and low-acid food products. Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry .
