Job Description :

The ideal candidate for this Project Facilitator role will possess a valid California Teaching Credential and a minimum of five years of successful K-12 classroom teaching experience. A Master's degree is highly desirable, and experience in coaching, mentoring, or facilitating professional development is preferred. Candidates must demonstrate a strong understanding of current educational practices, including state content standards, instructional strategies, assessment practices, and equity-centered approaches. A background in using digital tools for instruction and collaboration is essential, as the role demands effective communication, organization, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Additional qualifications include the ability to collaborate on and deliver workshops, training, and professional learning opportunities aligned with adult learning theory and effective instructional practices. The position requires knowledge of current research, especially as it pertains to the implementation of inclusive, standards-aligned programs such as ELA/ELD frameworks and the California English Learner Roadmap, and Standards for developing teachers, the Teacher Performance Expectations (TPEs). Candidates should also be skilled in facilitating data-informed decisions, providing technical assistance to educators, and supporting systemic shifts toward culturally and linguistically responsive education. Through intentional, equity-driven guidance, the facilitator will also support new teachers in becoming anti-racist educators who create inclusive, identity-affirming environments and advocate for systemic change that promotes academic equity.
