Family Health Centers at NYU Langone, a designated Level 3 Medical Home, is the largest federally qualified health center network in New York State, and the second largest in the nation. Position Summary

We are seeking a Project Facilitator to join our team. The role involves supporting family child care providers within the Sunset Park Family Child Care Network, ensuring high-quality, responsive, and developmentally appropriate care for children aged birth to 4 years. The Education Specialist (Project Facilitator) will build relationships with providers to support the implementation of high-quality, play-based instruction.

Job Responsibilities
  • Provide bi-monthly coaching to up to 17 providers on implementing a mixed-age curriculum.
  • Document coaching sessions and assist providers with observations and child assessment data entry.
  • Review and adapt curriculum supports to promote developmentally appropriate interactions.
  • Guide providers on implementing evidence-based curricula tailored to mixed-age groups.
  • Support coordination of professional learning days and participate in network staff sessions.
  • Collaborate with team members to meet the needs of children and families.
  • Participate in staff meetings, outreach, enrollment, and administrative tasks.
Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood or Infant/Toddler studies and at least 2 years of teaching experience with children under six.

Preferred Qualifications

3 years of teaching experience, willingness to travel within the catchment area, strong interpersonal skills, and teamwork ability.
