Duties and Responsibilities:

• Actively pursue new bid opportunities for Commercial Construction and Municipalities.
• Prepare bids by understanding plans and requirements, reviewing specifications for each project, and identifying and projecting costs.
• Obtain bids from material vendors and subcontractors.
• Provide complete and accurate quantity take-offs utilizing OnScreen Takeoff.
• Prepare cost analysis for labor, equipment, and materials utilizing Bid2Win.
• Analyze and comprehend plan sets and construction drawings emphasizing concrete, earthwork, irrigation, and landscaping.
• Provide complete estimates in the Municipality proposal forms and bid documents.
• Attend bid openings and pre-construction meetings when warranted.
• The position requires close communication with internal operations.
• Consult with operations to develop innovative and diverse service solutions.

Job Requirements:

• Knowledge of On Screen Take Off, Bid2Win, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft Outlook .
• A bachelor's degree in construction management or a related construction degree is but not required.
• Five years of Construction Estimating .
• Multi-tasking skills are required to be able to do multiple projects simultaneously.
• Computer Skills required.
• No travel (position based in Keller, Texas).
• Adhere to company policies and compliance with federal and state legislation laws.
