Estimator & Project Manager

Location: Findlay, OH | Schedule: 4-Day Workweek

Integrated Talent Strategies (ITS) is currently seeking an experienced and highly motivated Estimator & Project Manager to join our client's growing team. This dual-role opportunity is ideal for a results-driven professional who thrives in a fast-paced construction environment and is eager to lead projects from conception through completion. The selected candidate will oversee estimating, procurement, scheduling, and subcontractor coordination to ensure successful project delivery—on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate closely with company leadership to identify and evaluate new project opportunities.
  • Review project documents (plans, specifications, proposals) to develop accurate cost estimates.
  • Analyze labor, material, and time requirements to generate detailed bid packages and budgets.
  • Maintain and update historical cost data for benchmarking and future reference.
  • Participate in turnover meetings and job cost reviews; adjust estimate variables as needed.
  • Procure materials and subcontractor services in alignment with project scope and timeline.
  • Manage and organize submittals, RFIs, approvals, and other project documentation.
  • Create and maintain detailed project schedules; coordinate with field teams, subcontractors, and vendors.
  • Monitor job progress, subcontractor performance, and resource allocation to ensure operational efficiency.
  • Submit change orders, process invoices, and prepare monthly pay applications.
  • Identify potential project risks such as delays, scope changes, or unforeseen site conditions, and implement mitigation strategies.
  • Ensure job site safety and cleanliness; promote adherence to OSHA and company protocols.
  • Serve as a primary point of contact with clients, engineers, and subcontractors throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Represent the company at job meetings, design reviews, and industry events.
  • Foster strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and trade partners to support long-term collaboration.
  • Support internal teams in streamlining estimating, scheduling, and safety compliance processes.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in construction project management and/or estimating.
  • Solid understanding of civil/structural concrete, underground utilities, and water/wastewater treatment projects.
  • Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints, technical drawings, and project specifications.
  • Experience using construction management tools such as Procore, Microsoft Excel, and scheduling software.
  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills; able to lead multiple concurrent projects.
  • Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel as needed.
