HRI is seeking qualified applicants for a position within our company located in the Central Pennsylvania area. We have current openings within our Utilities Regions. The successful candidate will assist Project Managers, Superintendents, Foremen, and other personnel in managing, scheduling, and purchasing for various types of construction projectsMain Responsibilities Understand, support, and adhere to all safety requirementsPlan work and purchase materialsAssist Project Manager with daily project duties including material billing preparations, expedite material procurement, approval, and delivery as necessaryPrepare and track all necessary submittalsObtain required material certificationsOrder necessary materials and supplies, maintain project files, current drawings, and production recordsCoordinate with Project Managers and subcontractors while maintaining a positive attitudeAssist Project Manager with other duties as neededSkills General knowledge of computer software such as Auto CAD, MS Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Windows, JDE, etc.Experience with project planning, scheduling, and estimatingAbility to prepare subcontractor scopes of workFamiliarity with pricing, purchasing, and preparation of purchase orders for materials and equipmentAbility to read and understand construction drawingsExcellent communication skillsPrevious PennDOT experience preferredValid drivers license with clean driving historyEducation Preferred degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related degreeValid drivers license with clean driving historyPhysical Requirements Wears and maintains personal protective equipment (PPE) as required by Company safety guidelinesRegularly required to use hands to move and manipulate objectsRegularly required to communicate (talk and hear)Standing/working on feet for long periods, and walking across uneven terrainFrequent exposure to loud noiseRegularly exposed to all outdoor weather conditions, dust, and airborne particlesRequired to work varying hours, including nights/weekends as requiredMust comply with the company's drug and alcohol testing requirementsProven track record working safelyGood work ethic, professional, and positive attitudeBenefits and Perks Choice of 3 Medical Plan OptionsPrescription Drug CoverageDental and Vision PlansFlexible Spending Account or Health Savings OptionsAccess to Telemedicine and Healthcare Advocacy ServicesEmployee Assistance Program401(k) Savings Plan with Company MatchGreat starting ratesSign on bonus will be awarded after 90 days of employmentColas Inc. and its subsidiaries are an Equal Opportunity Employer.
