The Building Products Division of Georgia-Pacific, LLC is seeking a Project Engineer/Manager to support projects at our Dudley, NC site. The position involves developing and managing project scopes and collaborating with internal and external teams.

This role is primarily based at the Dudley, NC facility, with travel to other plywood facilities as needed.

What You Will Do
  • Develop and manage project scope, cost estimates, budgets, schedules, and risk management plans.
  • Coordinate projects between outside contractors, internal and external design teams, and facility personnel.
  • Plan and execute capital improvement projects for expansion and equipment upgrades.
  • Manage installations, outages, and equipment start-ups.
  • Prepare and organize project documentation.
  • Track, report, and manage project performance, schedule, and cost compliance.
  • Lead and facilitate cross-functional project teams.
  • Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering.
  • Experience leading capital projects in a manufacturing environment, including data gathering, process calculations, design, scope development, scheduling, budgeting, estimating, and risk management.
  • Willingness and ability to travel up to 10% of the time, depending on project needs.
  • What Will Put You Ahead
    • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
