Project Engineer - TI Builders : Job Details

National construction firm TI Builders is currently hiring a Project Engineer to join our growing team in our Nashville (Franklin), TN office. Do you know your stuff? Responsibilities

• Assisting PMs and estimators with project documentation, take-offs and materials quotes
• Calling subcontractors to check if they're bidding or have any questions
• Holding site/job walks
• Addressing and sourcing any necessary temporary facilities (e.g. storage containers, dumpsters, mobile restrooms, equipment)
• Transcription and distribution of budgets, RFIs, submittals, subcontracts, and change orders
• Assembling project close-out documents

Qualifications

• 3+ years' experience as a commercial - not multi-family or residential - estimator
• An innate understanding of the tenant improvement process and commercial construction project management
• Strong writing ability and excellent verbal skills (we value honest, open communication)
• The ability to perform well and grow under limited supervision
• Proficiency with MS office programs (Word, Excel, Outlook, Project) and Monday.com
