Position: Project Engineer at White Construction
White Construction is seeking a Project Engineer to join their team. This role involves supporting project management and estimating functions to ensure projects are completed accurately, on time, and within budget.
Position Responsibilities
Attend project turnover meetings (estimating to operations). Assist in generating and maintaining project schedules, including cash flow and workload. Participate in job meetings. Assist in setting up and managing submittals, purchase orders, change orders, and subcontractor agreements. Ensure work compliance with OSHA standards and company policies. Enforce the company safety program. Verify that all work meets project specifications. Assist in completing project plans and maintaining related reports. Help prepare project closing documents. Review construction documents, perform take-offs, and assist in obtaining material and subcontractor pricing, including DBE subcontractors. Assist in preparing CPM schedules based on estimated production rates. Attend pre-bid meetings and conduct pre-bid site investigations. Assist in preparing QA/QC plans and test concrete as per these plans. Maintain and submit QA/QC records. Perform other duties as assigned. Education
- Associate degree required.
Position Requirements
- Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in the construction industry.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States now and in the future.
