EPI Power is hiring an Electrical Project Engineer to be responsible for various functions throughout the project lifecycle, including planning, buyout, management, and closeout. The role involves supporting the project team in monitoring progress and addressing issues that could affect schedule or budget. Candidates should be open to travel and/or relocation based on project needs.This position requires working 6 days a week, Monday – Saturday.EPI Power, LLC (“EPI”), a subsidiary of The Weitz Company, specializes in data centers and aims to deliver electrical construction solutions safely and efficiently.   • Review project data (specifications, BOQ, Q&A, drawings) and issue RFIs for contradictions or missing data, utilizing BIM models if applicable.
  • Manage electrical shop drawings and as-built drawings for compliance with contract documents.
  • Collaborate with the project team to handle RFIs.
  • Research and evaluate customer design proposals, manuals, and data for feasibility, cost, and maintenance considerations.
  • Verify Engineering Site Instructions via BIM models.
  • Apply standard engineering techniques and procedures to assigned tasks.
  • Participate in regular project meetings.
  • Identify and resolve technical issues as they arise.
  • Review submittals and project documents for accuracy.
  • Monitor material and equipment delivery statuses.
  • Assist with project schedule management.
What We're Looking For
  • Degree in Engineering or related field.
  • 3-5+ years of experience in design and construction.
  • EIT certification is a plus.
  • Experience with LEAN principles and knowledge of NEC code.
  • Proactive, analytical, and detail-oriented with excellent communication skills.
  • Team-oriented and flexible.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Autodesk programs (Revit, AutoCAD, Navisworks), and ability to learn additional software (JDE, Procore, Bluebeam, scheduling tools).
