Project Engineer - Vulcan Materials Company : Job Details

Manage. Responsible for project management of engineering/construction projects including but not limited to opportunity/ problem identification, potential options for resolution, project estimates, resource requirements, detailed schedule, and work plans, detailed designs, bid requests, and overall construction management. Proactively manages project costs to meet budget and established timelines. Monitors progress and makes adjustments as needed. Manage contracts with vendors and suppliers by assigning tasks and communicating expected deliverables. Design. Uses AutoCAD to perform design tasks and produce drawings. Draws on internal/external mechanical and civil designer resources as required. Inspect. Provides field supervision/inspection services on construction projects. Performs post-project review to ensure key objectives, cost/performance improvements, and rate of return are achieved; Prepare Bid Packages.
