Their focus on team-driven dedication to exceptional customer service has brought them continued success, and as a result, they are currently looking to hire a Sales Engineer /Project Engineer in Columbia, MD and Application Engineers in Columbia, MD, Pittsburgh, PA, Ashland/Richmond, Va. The Sales Engineer/Project Engineer is an integral player in the process of developing engineered solutions for the customer's needs. Primary responsibilities will include estimating, project management, and sales for contractors, consulting engineers, and business owners in the region. You will assess the potential application of company products and services and offer solutions that meet customer needs. You will be involved with inside sales and working with folks in the field. This is a great industry and OJT will be provided to ensure your success.As an Applications Engineer, you will provide technical and engineering design support for the sales team and clients in both the acquisition and fulfillment stages of commercial HVAC equipment projects. This position provides specialized support directly to Sales Engineer(s) and the developing, designing and securing of projects. This position requires a unique combination of customer service skills to influence the design and purchase of commercial HVAC systems, problem solving skills to ensure accurate delivery of equipment and drive to accomplish other specific objectives in the allotted time frame with limited resources. Successful candidates will have a solid engineering background. Candidates should have some knowledge of wet-side heat rejection systems-including cooling towers, water source heat pumps, fan coils units, heat exchangers and water treatment. However, a technical, application-based background will be adequate. Must be very well organized, a team-player, and have confident decision-making abilities. A bachelor's degree in engineering strongly preferred. This company has long history of hiring veteran talent from RecruitMilitary.
