Our services include “Turnkey” design/build construction and bid/build construction, including general construction, civil work, and tenant improvement services as well as Architecture, Engineering, and full service permitting. In addition, we have a full staff of highly skilled tradesmen and management professionals. Coast can self-perform work or manage subcontractors with seasoned site superintendents and project managers.

On-site position in Anaheim, preference given to candidates who live fairly local.

PROJECT ENGINEER DUTIES

Assists the PM in ensuring that the project is completed on time, within budget, and on schedule. The PE oversees document control for the project. This goes from the plans and specifications to RFI's, submittals, change orders, and project O&M manuals once the project is complete.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Maintain control of all project documentation.
  • Coordinates and maintains special inspection documentation for project.
  • Create, manage, and track RFI's from the field.
  • Maintain and distribute project plans.
  • Maintain and update project records.
  • Assist the PM/Superintendent in creating and distributing the project schedule.
  • Understand the project plans and specifications.
  • Assist project team with conflict resolution between owner, contractor, and subcontractor.
  • Turning in submittals from subcontractors to the Architect/Engineer for approval.
  • Manages project change orders including creation and negotiation between PM and Owner.
  • Documents owner's meetings/decisions and distributes minutes.
  • Assists with documenting job progress and schedule.
  • Creates and distributes project close out material and O&M manuals to owner once project is complete.
  • Assists PM with assigned tasks.
