Project Engineer I, Power Systems - Altorfer : Job Details

Assist in developing detailed mechanical or electrical/controls documentation. Support the creation of 2 D AutoCAD drawings, including assembly layouts, wiring diagrams, and basic schematics for genset packages.-Learn to apply standard engineering principles. Interpret basic codes, guidelines, and internal standards (e.g., UL, NFPA, ISO) with guidance from senior engineers.-Support equipment and component specification. Research and select standard mechanical components (e.g., mounts, exhaust, louvers) or electrical devices (e.g., relays, breakers) as directed.-Contribute to project documentation and submittals. Help compile data sheets, vendor cut sheets, and BOMs into organized submittal packages.-Collaborate with detailers and production teams. Communicate design intent clearly to drafting and assembly staff to ensure accurate execution.-Participate in design reviews and quality checks.
