Our client, an industry-leading manufacturer, is hiring a Project Engineer to lead new product development projects focused on burners andcombustion systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as a subject matter expert on combustion systems for gas burners.

• Lead New Product Development, focusing on combustion systems, ensuring they perform efficiently and safely.

• Ensure compliance to applicable codes, regulations, standards and specifications

• Review designs, materials, and final outputs.

• Support and guide the design team, providing expertise in combustion system design.

• Collaborate cross-functionally to determine project plans, goals and limits.

• Develop and oversee testing protocols to ensure performance and compliance.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.

• Proven experience in the design and analysis of combustion systems, preferably in gas appliance development.

• Strong understanding of thermodynamics, fluid dynamics, and heat transfer principles.

• Familiarity with relevant industry standards and regulations (e.g., ANSI, CSA, or similar codes).

• Proficiency in CAD software and computational tools for modeling and simulation.
