Harris-Stowe State University is seeking a dedicated and experienced individual to serve as a Project Director. This full-time, 12-month position is funded by a 4-Year grant from the U.S. Department of Justice: Office on Violence Against Women (OVW). The ideal candidate will have a solid background in social work, human services, public health, criminal justice, or a related field, and a strong commitment to fostering community relationships, with a focus on building culturally relevant strategies to address domestic violence, dating violence, sexual assault, and stalking. The Project Director plays a vital supporting role to the Project Supervisor, overseeing the coordination of program planning and implementation. Responsibilities include managing administrative functions, tracking program data and metrics, organizing training schedules, and ensuring the delivery of comprehensive, coordinated, trauma-informed practices.
