Responsibilities:
- Provide overall oversight of project financials, including cost estimates, reports, and profitability.
- Lead operational planning and resource scheduling across all assigned projects.
- Mentor and manage Project Managers, Project Engineers, and Operations Managers to ensure project success.
- Review contracts, subcontracts, and schedule of values to ensure compliance and accuracy.
- Participate in project buyouts, vendor evaluations, and early planning phases such as sequencing and scheduling.
- Conduct weekly project reviews and monthly directors' meetings to monitor progress.
- Serve as the executive point of contact for general contractors and manage client relations effectively.
- Perform monthly safety audits and ensure adherence to safety protocols across job sites.
- Lead efforts in change order monitoring, collections, and cost projection accuracy.
- Resolve project-related issues and implement solutions to maintain project timelines and budgets.
Must-Have Skills:
- 15+ years of experience in construction management, with a focus on concrete construction.
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of construction principles, practices, and critical path scheduling.
- Proven ability to manage multiple self-perform concrete projects successfully.
- Experience in project setup, budget planning, cost reporting, and buyout processes.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to changing circumstances.
- Strong leadership skills with a track record of mentoring and developing teams.
- Ability to navigate job sites, including climbing ladders and scaffolding.
Nice-to-Have Skills:
