We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Project Cost Specialist to manage the financial aspects of project close-outs. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that all financial transactions related to project completion are accurately recorded, invoiced, and reported. You will work closely with project managers, finance teams, and external stakeholders to ensure that all order numbers are closed out and that final reports are prepared in a timely and accurate manner.

Key Responsibilities:

• Project Close-Outs: Assist in the successful close-out of project cost items, including finalizing open order numbers, invoices, and project documentation.
• Invoicing: Coordinate and manage the invoicing process to ensure accurate billing for all completed project phases.
• Cost Administration: Support project teams in tracking and managing project costs throughout the lifecycle, ensuring alignment with the initial budget.
• SAP Integration: Work with SAP to track and manage project cost data, including entry and reconciliation of invoices and financial transactions.
• Financial Reporting: Prepare and present regular cost reports for internal stakeholders, highlighting key budget variances and project performance metrics.
• Order Number Management: Close out order numbers and ensure that all outstanding financial obligations are addressed.
• Collaboration: Work closely with project managers, finance teams, and other internal departments to ensure that project costs are accurately recorded and reflected in the final reports.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Construction Management, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in project controls, project cost management, project finance, or a similar role in the construction industry.
• Strong proficiency in cost management tools such as Excel, SAP, or similar is required.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to review and process detailed financial information.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
