Project Cost Estimator - Frankcrum Staffing : Job Details

Job Overview:The Project Cost Estimator will be responsible for accurately calculating the total costs associated with company projects and professionally communicating with customers. Specifically, the Project Cost Estimator will take into consideration all relevant factors in the plan such as materials, labor and equipment, as well as related expenses including taxes and incidental costs in order to develop cost estimates for residential and commercial customers. The Project Cost Estimator will work on individual item costing, installed pricing, DIY pricing and do bid take off from plans.Essential Responsibilities:The duties and responsibilities listed below are intended to provide general guidelines and parameters for the position and are not intended to be a comprehensive, detailed description of the job. The requirements are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required.-Previous construction estimating experience required-Must be able to communicate professionally with customers-Must be adept in mathematics and have keen analytical skills-Read and understand blueprints, designs and drawings-Be able to manage tight deadlines-Ensure construction and installation plans meets Danielle Fence s quality standards-Must have a basic understanding of fencing and various types of fence applications-Be able to research online to find specific information such as builder information and request for proposals-Must be able to cold call and set up meetings between the Danielle Fence sales personnel and decision makers at potential customers-Assist in other department related functions as neededQualifications:Job Qualifications-3 year clean driving record-Valid Florida driver s license-Must possess an intermediate skill level in Microsoft Excel; understand how the program works and be able to write formulas-Supplier quoting and negotiating skills-Manage quote history files and archive file system- Proven experience in construction project management- Proficiency in project scheduling tools- Strong knowledge of construction estimating and coordinationThis position offers a competitive salary commensurate with experience.
