Project CoordinatorRead on to find out what you will need to succeed in this position, including skills, qualifications, and experience.The Project Coordinator supports the SFARI science team and Autism & Neuroscience early career team on a variety of initiatives, including but not limited to, events and workshops, operational support for collaborations, archiving and document tracking, use of project management tools, and creating/updating standard operating procedures. The SFARI Project Coordinator reports to the Vice President, Finance and Administration and will work closely under the guidance of the SFARI Project Manager and the Autism and Neuroscience Student and Fellow Program Manager. They will also work with members of the SFARI science and administrative teams, and the Autism & Neuroscience early career team. The SFARI Project Coordinator will help manage SFARI and Autism & Neuroscience workshops and events, in collaboration with the Simons Foundation events management team, and provide support for other projects as needed.This is a full-time position located at the Simons Foundation's offices in New York City. For more information, visit simonsfoundation.org/careers.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/RESPONSIBILITIESOrganize and facilitate SFARI workshops and ensure they are planned in accordance with SFARI's standards of excellenceProvide organizational support for consortia and collaborations, including but not limited to facilitating events and calls for the Autism Rat Models Consortium (ARC) and SFARI Collaboration on Sex Differences in Autism (SSDC)Assist SFARI Project Manager with the annual SFARI Investigator Meeting, including but not limited to management of event-related data and data analysisWork with the Student and Fellow Program Manager to provide support for programs and special projects supporting autism and neuroscience early career scientists, including the Fellows to Faculty Retreat, Shenoy Undergraduate Research Fellowship in Neuroscience and other events for the early career grantee communityBuild and maintain monday.com boards and help to set strategy/guidelines for use of monday.com throughout the division of Autism & NeuroscienceCreate standard operating procedures and timelines for SFARI workshops and related programsServe as SFARI's representative on the Simons Foundation Archiving Project and archive materials per established guidelines.
