Our client, a well-established real estate development company, is seeking a highly organized and proactive Project/Office Coordinator to support their Central Coast operations. This position works closely with the Area Construction Manager and serves as a key liaison between field staff, consultants, city officials, and office teams. The ideal candidate thrives in a dynamic environment and enjoys balancing office coordination with project tracking and permitting responsibilities.
**Please note this is an on-site, temp-to-perm role based in Marina, CA. Pay will be $65k-$75k.**
Key Responsibilities:
• Coordinate submittals and approvals with city departments and consultants. • Track permits, plan changes, redlines, and approval deadlines.
• Maintain organized lot folders and ensure superintendents have updated documentation.
• Assist with purchase orders, contracts, invoices, and plan reviews.
• Oversee field support items like utility setup, rentals, and safety training.
• Act as the billing hub for Central Coast offices.
• Receive, review, and route invoices for approval.
• Communicate with vendors regarding billing inquiries and payment statuses.
• Collaborate with the Accounting Manager to maintain smooth processing.
• Serve as receptionist—answer calls, greet visitors, and manage daily office operations.
• Order supplies, coordinate office events, and maintain a professional, welcoming space.
• Liaise with building management and internal cultural committees.
• Decorate the office for holidays, water plants, and ensure communal areas are clean and functional.
• Support Notary duties (client will assist with certification if not already held).
Qualifications:
• 1–3 years of experience in construction office support, project coordination, or administrative roles.
• Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail.
• Proficient with Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, spreadsheets, and project management tools.
• Associate's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.
• Positive, team-oriented attitude with a “can-do” approach to problem-solving.
