Project Controls Specialist I - Site Progress Support - Fluor : Job Details

Exciting opportunity to join a global EPC firm supporting robust Mining & Metals construction projects on the Gulf Coast in Bay Minette, AL. Our client is currently seeking an Associate Project Controls Specialist I to support Construction Site Progress Measurement.

Position Description: This position will work with the Area Progress Lead to support coordination of progress with subcontractors, verify installed field quantities, and support construction progress reporting.

The position is a site-based role.

Work Shift: 10 hours/day, 5 days/week.

Local Hire Preference: The project is looking for local hires. Graduates from university with a BS in Construction Management, Engineering, or related fields are preferred.

Requirements:

• Effective communication skills with management, coworkers, clients, vendors, contractors, and visitors.
• Technical knowledge relevant to the role.
• Ability to learn and apply local, state, and federal regulations.
• Attention to detail and ability to work efficiently within time constraints.
• Proficiency in computer skills, including database knowledge.
