Primary Job Title: Project Controls Specialist - Cost/Scheduler Contract length: 1 yearLocation: Conshohocken, PADate Posted: 7/15/25Employment Type: ContractJob Summary:The Project Controls Specialist will lead project control processes in collaboration with internal project management teams to ensure successful execution of deliverables within budget and schedule. This role focuses on scheduling, cost control, reporting, forecasting, and supporting audits and field validations.Responsibilities: Set up and maintain project data in Enterprise Planning & Controls software Analyze data and generate reports and logs Create Work Breakdown Structures (WBS) Develop and maintain scheduling and cost reporting, forecasts, and cash flows for multiple projects Support engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) planning and logistics Serve as a technical contact for project teams Approve and code purchase orders and subcontracts Monitor cost reports, forecast changes, and support external audits Review change orders for prime contracts and subcontracts Create and present cash flow reports and various scheduling levels Apply logic ties and monitor resource loading in schedules Conduct and support Interactive Project Planning Meetings (IPPM) Generate schedule reports in appropriate formats Analyze schedule progress and perform what-if scenarios Develop earned value management systems and progress measurements Maintain progress curves and perform material takeoffs Conduct quality checks, inspections, and field audits Assist with project forensic analysis Ensure compliance with internal policies and standards Perform additional duties as assignedQualifications: Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, or related field with at least 3 years of direct project controls experience (required) Relevant experience may substitute for degree Oracle Primavera P6 experience is mandatory Strong communication and interpersonal skills Proficiency in Microsoft OfficeNote:This position is based in Conshohocken, PA, and includes local travel to Allentown.Cost and scheduling experience are required.Benefits: Medical, Vision, and Dental Insurance Plans 401(k) Retirement FundAbout the Company:Infrastructure engineering firm designing and building essential infrastructure for cities.
