You will be successful because you already know how to translate an architect's sketches and documents into realized 2D/3D models and images and can research artistic and/or technical issues when they arise . Your work ethic, combined with your commitment to collaboration and mentoring, makes Gensler the perfect place to nurture your career.What You Will DoCollaborate on design projects in the various practice areas, including programming client needs, conceptual design, schematic design, design development and documentationWork with consultants, contractors, fabricators, specification writers, and regulatory agencies to meet overall project objectivesDocumentation coordination with consultants (structural, MEP, lighting, AV, acoustical, accessibility, building envelope, life safety, etc.)Assist in resolving complex technical and design issuesAssist in managing client expectations, team communication, and consultant coordinationProvide project team coordination for the finished plans, specifications, and material selections required for constructionParticipate in the construction administration of projects and review of submittals and finish samplesContribute to office activities, initiatives, and learning programsYour QualificationsBachelor's degree in Architecture from an accredited schoolLicensure required6 + years of experience in the profession of architectural designE xperience withi n Workplace, Cities, and Communities preferredProficiency with SketchUp, 3D Max, Bluebeam, and Adobe Creative Suite is preferred, but not requiredStrong Revit, Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator), Microsoft Office experience desired. AutoCAD, Sketchup, Rhino, Enscape , VRay also beneficialExperience managing multiple aspects of client, team, and project coordination, including full documentation coordination with structural, MEP, lighting, AV, landscape, and civil consultantsExperience working directly with contractorsExperience resolving complex technical and design issuesExperience performing zoning and code analysis in multiple jurisdictionsUnderstanding of how buildings are constructed, along with the ability to create technical documents that succinctly, thoroughly, and accurately describe the work to be doneUnderstanding of sustainable and universal design conceptsStrong leadership, organizational, communication and relationship management skillsPrevious experience in sustainable design projects preferable . Especially built projects with LEED, Living Building Challenge, WELL Building Standard, Fitwel and /or Net Zero Building certification*For consideration, you must submit a portfolio and your resume in PDF format.**The base salary will be estimated between $ 82,000 – 100,000 plus bonuses and benefits and contingent on relevant experience.
