Project Architect - Design Initiative : Job Details

Our work encompasses residential, commercial, and public projects, each pursuing the goal of creating memorable places. We are seeking a full-time, in-office Architect who values innovative design, sustainability, and community engagement. The ideal candidate possesses a strong work ethic and a dedication to learning the practice of architecture.

• A Project Architect is responsible for the day-to-day execution of projects, including research, design, coordinating design details, creating construction documents, and ensuring technical accuracy
• Leadership of the architectural team on delegated tasks, coordinating with consultants, and communicating with clients and contractors

• Bachelor of Architecture degree from an accredited institution
• Minimum of 5 years of experience working in an architecture firm
• Architecture Licensure is preferred but not required
• Should possess a working knowledge of construction types, building systems, and construction materials and methods
• General familiarity of building codes, zoning regulations, and accessible design regulations

• Proficiency in CAD, SketchUp or other 3D modeling software
• Hand sketching and rendering capabilities
• Familiarity with Adobe Creative Cloud
• Ability to create deliverables such as conceptual plans, sketches and renderings
• Can research and coordinate materials and products for project specifications
• Preparation of Working Drawings and Specifications
