Position Overview:

We are seeking a talented and experienced Senior Project Architect with a specialization in K-12 educational projects. The ideal candidate will lead the design and execution of projects from concept to completion, collaborating closely with clients, consultants, and internal teams to deliver exceptional results. This role offers the opportunity to work on diverse projects, contribute to meaningful educational initiatives, and play a key role in shaping the future of learning environments.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the design and development of K-12 educational projects from inception to completion.
• Collaborate with clients to understand their needs, goals, and objectives, and translate them into innovative design solutions.
• Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and resources to ensure timely and successful project delivery.
• Oversee the preparation of construction documents, specifications, and drawings, ensuring compliance with relevant codes and regulations.
• Coordinate with consultants, contractors, and vendors throughout the project lifecycle to ensure seamless execution.
• Mentor and provide guidance to junior staff members, fostering their professional growth and development.
• Conduct site visits and inspections to monitor progress, quality, and adherence to design intent.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor s or Master s degree in Architecture from an accredited institution.
• Licensed Architect with a minimum of 12 years of experience in architectural design and project management.
• Proven track record of successfully leading K-12 educational projects from concept through construction.
• Strong proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, and other relevant design software.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
• Thorough understanding of building codes, zoning regulations, and industry standards related to educational facilities.
• LEED accreditation or experience with sustainable design practices is a plus.
