Position Summary As a Project Architect, you will play a pivotal role in leading projects from conceptual design through construction administration. You will be responsible for managing client relationships, developing design solutions, producing high-quality documentation, and coordinating with consultants and contractors. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced architect to contribute to significant projects and grow within a dynamic and established firm. .
Primary Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage all phases of architectural projects, including schematic design, design development, construction documents, bidding, and construction administration.
- Develop strong client relationships and serve as the primary point of contact throughout the project lifecycle.
- Translate client needs and program requirements into innovative and functional design solutions.
- Prepare detailed architectural drawings, specifications, and other technical documents.
- Coordinate with and manage the work of consultants, including structural, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing engineers.
- Conduct site visits and oversee construction progress to ensure adherence to design intent and contract documents.
- Mentor and provide guidance to junior architectural staff.
- Contribute to the firm's design culture and participate in internal project reviews and design discussions.
- Maintain a strong understanding of current building codes, regulations, and industry best practices.
Education/Skills/Experience:
- Minimum 7-10 years of experience in an architectural firm following the completion of a bachelor's degree.
- Possession of a professional degree in Architecture (B.Arch or M.Arch).
- Proven experience in the design and management of high-end single-family residential and commercial projects
- Exemplary design sensibility coupled with a meticulous attention to detail.
- Outstanding communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in Revit, AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite.
- Capable of working both independently and collaboratively in a team setting.
- Strong problem-solving abilities alongside the capacity to manage multiple projects concurrently.
