Position OverviewThe Department of Design and Construction, Technology & Innovation Division seeks to hire a Programmer responsible for analyzing, designing, coding, and improving web pages, programs, and applications. The candidate will collaborate with design, data, and technology teams to enhance existing applications and develop new systems. Duties include prototyping, user testing, translating business needs into technology solutions, maintaining source code, and documenting development processes.

Minimum QualificationsNote: To qualify as a project leader or major contributor, detailed explanation of experience is required. Experience in operations, support, hardware, help desk, or end-user roles does not qualify.
Preferred SkillsStrong development skills with at least two years of hands-on experience with .NET Technologies (C#, .NET Framework, .NET Core/5, MVC, WebForms, WebAPI, WCF, Windows Services, LINQ, Asynchronous/Multithreaded Programming, Visual Studio, Azure DevOps). Experience with AJAX, HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, frameworks like JQuery, Bootstrap, AngularJS, ReactJS, and Angular 7/10+ is preferred. Familiarity with Microsoft SQL Server, SSIS, stored procedures, and reporting services is a plus. Certifications such as MCSD, MCP, MCSE, or MCITP: Web Applications are advantageous.
