They will work closely with team members in an Agile environment, focusing on delivering new development, maintaining incidents, configuration, setup, responding to customer inquiries, data change requests, and other duties as assigned by the Team Lead.Viable candidates must be willing to work onsite at GSI's headquarters in Palm Harbor, Florida daily.Key ResponsibilitiesWork independently with minimal supervision.Maintain web applications.Design and develop applications using Microsoft .NET Technologies.Migrate internal applications to the latest Microsoft .NET Technologies.Troubleshoot and debug issues in development and production.Perform testing to identify system/software defects.Follow design specifications and best practices.Read specifications and design software solutions.Mentor team members.Create design specifications.Collaborate with subject matter experts to gather requirements.Participate in technical interviews.RequirementsWork Experience / KnowledgeProven experience in Microsoft Software Environment: MS SQL Server, .NET Framework, Visual Studio 2010 - 2017.Experience migrating legacy applications to .NET Platform.Experience with ASP.NET Web Forms applications.Experience using Team Foundation Server.Experience with JavaScript and libraries like JQuery, Bootstrap, Mustache, AngularJS.Experience with WCF/REST Services, Web API, and Mobile development is a plus.Over 10 years of ASP.Net programming experience.Work DemandsAbility to meet critical deadlines and serve a high-expectation customer base.Qualifications / CertificationsBachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience is required.Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or Information Systems is a plus.MCSD / MCPD Certifications are a plus.Required Technical ExperienceMS SQLASP.NETTeam Foundation ServerJQueryBootstrap.NET FrameworkAgile methodologiesPreferred Technical ExperienceWeb APIAngularJS or Angular 2WCF ServiceSpecial RequirementsMay be assigned various projects and tasks as needed.Equal Opportunity Employer.
