Location: Hybrid based in Meredith, NHFLSA: Exempt, Non Management Staff Administrative Support*Salary negotiable based on level of experience between $68,000 - $85,000The Programmer Analyst collaborates across departments to ensure digital services and applications are intuitive and engaging for internal and external users across applications and devices. Responsibilities include coding solutions, facilitating user needs discussions, documenting pain points, consulting with technical leads, testing prototypes, and training end users.Accountabilities & MeasuresKey AccountabilitiesModel behaviors consistent with A+ Merits to foster an effective culture.Proactively champion NHMB policies, procedures, and programs through effective employee communication and documentation.Design digital application interface solutions to address business needs.Collaborate with end users on streamlined business processes utilizing a digital-first approach.Success MeasuresTimely and accurate completion of work assignments, projects, and related functions.Effective communication with managers and business units, providing timely completion of programming and analysis tasks.Implement solutions to enhance infrastructure for reliability, availability, and service.Develop collaborative IT partnerships, responding effectively to changing regulations and emerging technologies.Essential FunctionsAdhere to NHMB Values: Fairness and Respect, Honesty and Integrity, Teamwork, Excellence, and Stewardship.Design, develop, and extend software applications to meet business needs.Write clean, scalable, and efficient code following best practices.Identify opportunities for optimization and communicate changes to the team.Work with cross-functional teams to integrate applications with other systems.Support software applications, resolve issues, and implement enhancements.Understand user requirements and develop effective solutions, including specifications and designs.Perform usability testing and develop training for users.Provide technical support and training for internal requests and issues.Support digital platforms such as electronic signatures, intranet, collaboration, and workflow platforms.Understand web application and API security features, including SAML, OAuth/JWT.Ability to switch between programming languages as required.Complete all compliance training and adhere to regulations.Perform other duties as requested.Minimum Physical RequirementsGenerally pleasant and comfortable surroundings, minimal hazards, moderate noise. Mostly seated work with occasional lifting up to 30 pounds.Desired EducationCollegeDesired DegreeBachelor'sDesired MajorSoftware Applications and Solutions, Computer Science, Information SystemsDesired Job Experience4+ years relevant experience as a programmer analyst or software developer.Proficiency in at least one language such as .Net C#, Python, Java.Experience in testing, debugging, and remediating applications.Knowledge of T-SQL and relational databases like MS SQL, Oracle, MySQL.Experience in identifying customer problems and presenting technology solutions.Exposure to IDEs like Visual Studio, Rider, SSMS.Knowledge of file formats and system integration via APIs.Other QualificationsStrong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Ability to present confidently, prioritize, and work within deadlines.
